Ruben Lenten
Mystic Kiteboarding
RUBEN LENTEN – March 30, 1988He's not just one of the world's greatest kiteboarders; he's a living icon who continues to expand the definition of extreme kiteboarding. In 2005 Ruben had his breakthrough by beating allround water legend Robby Naish at the Red Bull King of the Air final in Maui, Hawaii. In that same year he became Vice World Champion on the PKRA world tour. But after a period of tough injuries Ruben missed the 2006 season, and then started to loose motivation for competition. He knew his contribution to the sport didn't end by pulling tricks in small competition areas, and has since his departure from the PKRA tour been pushing the sport of kiteboarding to a completely new level. Big megaloops in the strong winds of Cape Town shocked the world and showed what power kiteboarding is all about. These days Ruben is travelling around the world pushing the limits of kiteboarding and capturing his awesome pro life on film. Besides that Ruben is developing his own Len10 signature collection with Mystic and his other sponsors.
