No. Our wake impact vests are designed for impact protection during wakeboarding and watersports, not as life-saving flotation devices or buoyancy aids. They help soften impacts from crashes, landings and wipeouts, but they are not intended to replace a certified buoyancy aid or life vest. A YKK front zip makes the vest easier to put on and take off before and after a session. The Zipper Lock helps keep the vest secure while riding, crashing or landing hard. This combination gives a practical balance of easy entry, comfort and a locked-in feel on the water.
A Mystic women's wake vest should fit snugly around the chest and body without restricting breathing, grabs or upper-body movement. It should stay in place during crashes and landings, but it should not feel painfully tight around the ribs, shoulders or underarms. Use the chest measurement in the product size chart to choose the right size. If the vest moves too much during hard landings, it is too loose.
