What a weekend in Lithuania. We headed to 313 Cable Park for Wake Duel 2026 with six riders in the men's draw and left with all three spots on the podium.
Wake Duel is head-to-head from the first round. No accumulated scores. No second chances. You win your duel or you go home. Every lap, every trick, every section of the cable counts. Kieran Owens, Dominik Hernler, Liam Peacock, Ryan Peacock, Timo Kapl and Trent Stuckey all came through their opening heats and pushed into the Top 16. The battles got harder from there.
Dominik's run came to an end in a tough heat against Pedro Caldas. Ryan put together one of the cleanest runs of the day against Bentley Bland, landed everything, and still narrowly missed advancing. Liam beat Gavin Stuckey moving into the Top 8. In one of the most anticipated heats, Trent was up against teammate Timo. Only one could go through. Trent moved through. By the Top 8, three Mystic riders remained. Liam beat Pedro Caldas. Trent beat Bentley Bland. Kieran put together his strongest performance of the event against Clement Nadal. Three Mystic riders. Four spots in the final.
The finals delivered.
Liam threw down a switch KGB 5 in the Big Air section, then backed it up with another KGB 5 on the inside kicker. Third place, well earned.
Kieran rode with consistency and control all day. Second place against one of the strongest fields of the year.
Trent stomped a Back Mobe into the pool gap, then sent a KGB 7 to seal it. First place. Event win.
🥇 Trent Stuckey
🥈 Kieran Owens
🥉 Liam Peacock
A full Mystic podium.
"Redbull WakeDuel, it's the biggest event of the year. Like every contest it's a roller coaster of emotions. I always have a little butterflies in my stomach before a contest, but after the first run I started to find the flow. It's hard to put the feeling into words but I'm incredibly proud to get this win. Especially with the championship ring on the line this year. It has to be the coolest trophy I've ever got."
- Trent Stuckey
Huge thanks to Jonas and Antanas from BoardSports Lithuania for putting Wake Duel together, to the crew at 313 Cable Park for hosting us, and to RedBull Lithuania for making it all happen. After the event, we headed west to Vėjo Festivalis in Palanga, where Mystic rider Fabi Muhmenthaler was hosting wing foil clinics and demos throughout the day. We wrapped things up with a beachside afterparty, good people, and a weekend worth remembering. See you at the next one!
